I have acquired a free, solid teak dining table with six matching chairs. While imperfect, it’s in good shape and more importantly freeeeeee!

Here’s how it looked before loaded:

The condition of this generosity was that I take everything else he wanted out of the garage. The bookcase and shelving unit crammed on top is garbage, basically fell apart when we lifted it. I will enjoy disassembling it in my favorite manner.

The guy also said when I pulled up that I’ll definitely have to make multiple trips. He underestimated my power.

It’s been a while since I got some decent furniture, I am very pleased.

I’m out of town for a few days so nothing is finalized until next week, but someone we know   just put down a nonrefundable deposit on a Jeep.

I thought I scored when I found two free tacos in my lunch order but that’s a nice looking set. Even (slightly) better than free tacos.

Just got lots of wind all of a sudden about 15 minutes ago. R ipped the storm door latch off. Got the door tied shut. Hope it holds :)

1st time here with strong north winds. Theres nothing but sugar cane north of my house with nothing to stop the wind.
